We have an exciting range of planned projects coming up.

Please help us to:

Nurture a traditional orchard and meadow in a disused field next to Home Farm
Plant William Robinson’s favourite ‘eye catcher’ trees along the drive
Plant Douglas fir and western red cedar trees in Bushy Wood for carbon sequestration and future income
Restore native hedgerows for wildlife
Improve paths and facilities for visitors to the Estate
Build ‘dead hedges’ and wildlife habitats

The Charity provides bespoke volunteering sessions for school groups, community organisations and corporates wanting to ‘give back’, as well as monthly weekend sessions.

Please see our diary of events and contact us if you are interested. Whatever your age and level of fitness, we would like to see you. We meet at Home Farm, in the middle of the estate, where we have a composting toilet and a barn for storing our tools and kit.

What to expect – we provide drinks and snacks and a convivial atmosphere where you can get to know new people who share an interest in helping wildlife. We do not expect volunteers to stay for the whole of our sessions, people are free to come and go and to take a rest when they need one. We always have a First Aider on hand and provide a Health & Safety briefing.
