23 pupils from Years 7,8,9 enjoyed three days of sunshine around the estate.

A fun packed few days we did numerous activities including; coppicing hazel and sycamore, dead hedging, submitting 7 citizen science studies to Butterfly Conservation, building a bug hotel, examining moths and lots of invertebrates using sweep nets and pooters, learning about barn owls and examining their pellets up close. All this and more!

The pupils were a credit to the school and we looking forward to two returning students getting involved in our Community Volunteering sessions.
