It was a pleasure to have the 1st Southgate Cub and Beavers visit the estate.
We learnt about dead hedges and how they provide hiding places and habitats for all sorts of wildlife, as well as food for insects. Supported by volunteers, the children learnt new skills using a variety of hand tools to do coppicing.
All the children worked really hard – a great healthy activity for the Easter hols.
