A Year 4 class from Southgate Primary School in Crawley enjoyed a fantastic day learning about nature and photography, thanks to Arts Council funding.
The project was delivered by Sharp Shots Photo Club following an introduction by our partner, Weald to Waves. Each child was given a digital camera for the day, along with guidance on capturing close-ups of insects and plants as well as wider landscape shots.
Many of the children said it was the “best day” they had ever had at school, and we think it was one of the most worthwhile days we have spent since beginning our schools programme.
